Inside Verse Therapy!

What Healing Sounds Like

Since the summer of 2023, Po’Boys & Poets has presented Verse Therapy, a community-centered open mic and safe haven for poets, musicians, improv artists, and comedians alike. Through creative expression, we cultivate a welcoming space for vulnerability, connection, and collective healing. In partnership with non-profit Black Mental Health Village, proceeds support the nonprofit’s mission to expand access to culturally responsive mental health care, education, and community wellness resources. Verse Therapy is more than a stage. It’s a space where creativity builds community and every voice matters.
